  • CTE Month February is State & National CTE Month

    Career and Technical Education, or CTE, is education that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers.  CTE covers many different fields, including health care, information technology, advanced manufacturing, hospitality & management and many more! The State Board of Education proclaimed February as CTE Month in Texas, in conjunction with National CTE Month.   • PreK Tuition Based Pre-K for 2018 - 2019 School Year

    Tyler ISD will offer Tuition Based Pre-K at Owens, Rice & Andy Woods elementary schools for the 18-19 school year. Enrollment opens to the public on Monday, February 12 & is first-come, first-served for available spots. Enrollment packets can be picked up at each campus. Please contact the campus principal with any questions.

  • 2017 - 2018 PEG Campuses

    The Public Education Grant (PEG) Program, authorized under Texas Education Code, Chapter 29, Subchapter G, §§ 29.201 – 29.205 identifies campuses at which 50 percent or more of the students did not pass STAAR/TAKS in any two of the preceding three years or were rated improvement required in 2015, 2016, or 2017 under the statewide accountability system.
