  • AVID Summer Bridge Programs - Math for 7th Grade & Algebra Readiness

    June 13-24 - Monday through Friday

    Locations:  Boulter MS (to host students from Boulter, Dogan & Moore)       

                         Three Lakes MS (to host students from Three Lakes, Hogg & Hubbard)

    • Current 6th & 7th graders in Math PreAP, GT or Algebra are invited to participate;
    • Bus transportation, breakfast & lunch will be available to students daily upon request;
    • Applications available from the math teachers on campus & are due Friday, May 13 (return to math teacher).


    The AVID STEM Math Summer Bridge Programs are designed to strengthen students’ math and skills and to increase the number of students who enroll and succeed in Algebra 1. Each program teaches rigorous content using WICOR strategies such as Cornell note-taking, interactive notebooks, writing and vocabulary activities, and team building to engage students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) opportunities. The engaging, interactive lessons and collaborative activities also incorporate strategies that provide support for English Language Learners.

  • New Bell Schedule for 2016-2017 School Year

    Effective for the 2016-2017 school year, Tyler ISD daily start and dismissal times will change due to recent mandates passed by the Texas legislature. In order to comply with State Bill 2610, that now requires 75,600 instructional minutes, a restructuring of school start and dismissal times is necessary. More Info   En español
