The American Association of Physics Teaching (AAPT) and the American Institute of Physics (AIP) sponsor a competition for high school students to represent the US at the International Physics Olympiad Competition. The mission of the US Physics Team Program is to promote and demonstrate academic excellence through preparation for and participation in the International Physics Olympiad.
Legacy teacher, Mitch Ray, is excited for the first of many Legacy students to complete the exam and is looking forward to continued success in Legacy Physics!

Today Ms. Clements Algebra 1 students conducted a math experiment to simulate exponential growth with "zombie" beans. Students calculated if a town of 500 people would survive a zombie attack starting with 1 zombie. Students shook their town and all the bean people touching the zombie became infected.
