Congratulations Aviona Sowells for placing 1st place in speaking skills at HOSA's state competition. Earlier in spring Aviona won 1st place qualifying her to go to state this week. By placing 1st at the state level she now qualifies for the national HOSA competition in June.
HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

Happy Opening Day Legacy Baseball! ⚾
Today members from our Legacy Baseball team took a visit to Jones Elementary School. While there they met with Ms. McWain's class to teach them about baseball and the equipment they use. Students also got a chance to show off their baseball skills with our players!
Legacy Baseball will have their next game tomorrow March 31 at 7pm at Rockwall-Heath!

6 Debate students from Legacy competed yesterday March 27 in the area Rotary speech contest for the South Tyler Rotary Club. The winner has been invited at the expense of Rotary to participate at the Rotary District level on April 15th in Mt. Pleasant for a 1000 dollar grand prize.
