We are so proud of Tyler Legacy seniors Jabryn Carston and Vera Banta. Last night they were honored at the 97th Rorary Club of Tyler's 97th Annual Young Citizens Banquet. They were chosen as outstanding citizens for their exceptional practices in citizenship, cleanliness, thriftiness, loyalty, courtesy, honesty, service, dependability, sportsmanship, scholarship, and leadership. Way to represent Tyler Legacy and our community!
We are so proud of our Tyler Legacy students who signed letters of intent to participate in Tyler ISD Transition Programs. Tyler ISD offers three exceptional transition service-based programs for students: Project SEARCH, LINK, and CONNECT. Each program uniquely incorporates collaborating with a variety of community businesses to teach real-world skills in a supportive environment.
Transition services provide young adults, 18 to 22 years old, with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful transition into community and adult living. Students meet throughout the week at various community sites to work on skills in adult living, employment, post-secondary education options, and community access.

From the Stock Market Challenge to the High School Heroes program—where our students teach financial literacy to local elementary students—Mrs. Morrow’s influence is making a lasting difference in our community.

Today Ms. Baldwin’s Foundations of Career Prep & Senior Seminar students had a valuable real-world learning experience! A guest speaker presented information about our local public transportation services, followed by a mock bus ride.
This hands-on opportunity allowed these students to become more familiar with a transportation option they could utilize, supporting their independence and confidence as they transition beyond high school.

Through AP Seminar and AP Research, students spent two years developing critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills essential for college success. This interdisciplinary program, created by College Board, challenges students to explore real-world issues, analyze multiple perspectives, and present their own research.
Led by Teacher of the Year Daniel Hancock, Tyler Legacy’s AP Capstone students continue to excel—especially impressive considering only about 3,500 high schools nationwide offer this program.
