💰 The Rules of Engagement:
Every house has its own container in the hallway outside the tea room. Here's how to play to win:
RAID FOR POINTS! The goal is to fill your house’s jar with high-point currency.
Pennies and Paper Bills (ones, fives, tens, etc.) COUNT AS POSITIVE POINTS for the house they are dropped into. Example: Drop $5 in the Green House jar to add 500 points!
SABOTAGE FOR POWER! This is where the "war" comes in! Silver coins are the enemy. Silver Coins (Nickels, Dimes, Quarters) COUNT AS NEGATIVE POINTS for the house they are dropped into. Example: Drop a Quarter in the Red House jar, and 25 points are removed from their total. Use your silver to target the current leader!

The house with the highest score at the end of the Coin War will earn the ultimate trifecta of rewards:

Remember that student led conferences are TODAY from 4pm-5:30pm. Below are the dismissal procedures
We will have regular dismissal procedures for Thursday. Parents attending the conference will enter through the front doors. At 3:55 teachers will head to classrooms and Fine Arts team will finish dismissal and watch students in cafe until picked up. We will open front doors at 4:00.
Elementary parents: Once you enter, you will wait in the hallway by Ms. Thompson and Mrs. Snook's room with your car tag. Staff will call for your student from the cafe. From the cafe you and your child/children will go to their homerooms to participate in a conference your child will lead. It is come and go.
Middle School parents: Once you enter, you will pick up your child from the gym. From the gym you and your child/children will go to their homerooms to participate in a conference your child will lead. It is come and go.
If you have children in both MS and elementary, you decide the order of pick up. After 4:15 all MS students will move to the cafe for pick up. All students need to be picked up by 4:15.
If you plan on attending your student let conference at 4:00 please communicate with your home room teacher (Elem)/advisory teacher (MS) so we can help make sure they are in cafe.
Please visit our PTA booth, Arts Alliance table, and Leader in Me table. Head over to ETX after conferences to check out our All Star Dad kick off event. There will be student ambassadors who can help you as well as Leadership team members.
We have a peanut butter drive happening and you can drop that off as well. Each jar is worth 100 house points!
