🎉🕷️🐛 Rock Your School: 4th Grade Fear Factor Edition! 🐛🕷️🎉 Our 4th graders had an unforgettable day rotating through all 5 teachers for a “Fear Factor” themed learning adventure! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 Each room brought spooky fun and hands-on challenges that made learning exciting and memorable: 👃 Super Sniffers – We learned about the olfactory system and tested our noses to identify mystery smells! 🥚 Spider Eggs – Math problems were hidden inside creepy spider egg sacs that students had to crack open and solve. 🐛 Worm Sentences – Students dug for gummy worms and then wrote “wonderful worm sentences” using creepy, crawly adjectives. 📖 Spooky Literature – We read and summarized The Spider and the Fly, a classic poem that’s nearly 200 years old! 🍬 Candy Corn Experiments – Students became scientists, exploring what happens when candy corn meets spooky mixtures. Our brave 4th graders rocked every challenge, proving that learning can be a little spooky and a whole lot of FUN! 🕸️✨ #RockYourSchool #FearFactorFun #4thGradeAdventures

To explore procedural writing, fifth graders built original Lego creations and wrote detailed instructions for their partners to replicate them. Afterwards, they reviewed each other’s directions, evaluating them for clarity and accuracy.🦅🧱 📝

This week, some fifth graders practiced using transition words in their writing by first organizing a series of steps on sentence strips—without talking. They then turned those steps into a well-structured paragraph, using transitions to improve organization and clarity.

This week, our kindergarteners went on a fun and fruity adventure all about apples! From learning how apples grow, to reading stories, sorting colors, and even tasting different kinds, our classroom was bursting with apple excitement!
We ended the week with a special treat — we made our very own applesauce! The kids had so much fun helping to peel, chop, and mix up a warm, cinnamon-sweet snack. The room smelled amazing, and the smiles were even sweeter. 🍏🍎
