🦌Reindeer Fun in Pre-K! This week we had a blast exploring all things reindeer. We learned fun facts about reindeer during story time, labeled parts of a reindeer, did a directed drawing, and imagined what it would be like to guide Santa's sleigh! πŸ›· #ReindeerFun #WhereLeadersSoar

🌟 **Shoutout to Allie!** 🌟 This year, Allie has truly stepped into a leadership role, and we couldn’t be prouder. She keeps our afternoon meetings running smoothly, always stepping up to remind her classmates about our Family Promise and leading meaningful discussions on how we can live it out every day. Her peers look up to her, and it’s easy to see whyβ€”she leads with kindness, confidence, and a genuine care for others. The 5th grade teachers are so proud to have such an inspiring student in our class! πŸ’™πŸ‘ #WhereLeadersSoar πŸ¦…

Mrs. Whiddon and Ms. Wasik's class had an exciting and interactive start to their drama unit with a lively drama circle activity. The students explored their creativity and teamwork as they performed together, using their imaginations to bring different scenarios to life. Laughter and enthusiasm filled the room as everyone took turns stepping into character, building confidence, and learning the basics of dramatic expression in a fun and supportive environment. #WhereLeadersSoar

Your child’s school will be participating in a very important presentation called Play it Safe! that teaches children about personal safety. During the 45-minute session, a representative from the Children’s Advocacy Center will present research-based, age-appropriate script to teach children to recognize, react to, and report dangerous situations as part of our ongoing effort to protect all children from abuse and other harmful situations. Because adults are responsible for keeping children safe, the presentation focuses on helping children identify safe adults and learn three safety rules the children can use: 1. Say NO 2. Get Away 3. Tell a trusted adult https://www.playitsafe.org/curriculum_gradelevels.php The program is voluntary, which means that you do not have to allow your child to participate. Please complete this form only if you DO want your child to participate. If we receive the form, we will assume your child has permission to be included. If you have questions about the program or this form, please visit www.cacsmithcounty.org or call (903) 533-1880 for more information.
