πŸŽ‰ Kids Rule the School was a huge success! πŸŽ‰

Our PTA fundraiser brought so much fun and excitement to campus! Students and teachers alike had an amazing day filled with laughter, energy, and unforgettable moments. It was so special to see our kids truly β€œrule the school” and celebrate together.

A big thank you to our PTA and everyone who helped make this day possible! Your support helps make wonderful experiences like this happen for our students. πŸ’™πŸ‘

Our 2nd graders have been busy learning all about landforms! 🌎 ⛰️They explored mountains, valleys, plains, islands, and more! They brought their learning to life by creating their own landforms out of salt dough. The hands-on activity helped them better understand how different landforms look and are shaped. We are so proud of their creativity and hard work!πŸ’™

Mrs. Hutson’s Class celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Read for the Record by reading See Marcus Grow! πŸŒ±πŸ“š
This story reminds us that just like plants, we grow with care, patience, and encouragement. We learned about the needs of plants and animals and, just like Marcus, we make salsa! πŸ…

Our kindergarten mathematicians are learning about measurement! Students used blocks to measure objects around the classroom. They practiced lining up their cubes carefully and counting how many cubes it took to measure different items. Hands-on learning makes math so much fun!

At the recent music teacher conference in San Antonio, Mr. Matthews had the opportunity to meet Mr. Quaver from QuaverEd and spent quality one-on-one time learning from one of the leaders in music education.
He brought back photos and videos from the experience that he's been sharing with students - and the engagement has been incredible. It's amazing to see how connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences can spark that kind of excitement.
This is exactly the kind of professional development and student connection that makes our school community stronger. Thank you, Mr. Matthews, for going the extra mile to bring inspiration back to your classroom!
