Our first graders had the BEST 🤪Wacky Wednesday🤪- our reminder to not let bad choices scramble the picture. They showed off their backwards clothes and silly accessories!🙈 They are loving Red Ribbon Week so far!❤️ #WhereLeadersSoar

Our 5th graders had a 🔆 bright 🔆 time exploring how light behaves! 💡They investigated how light can be reflected, refracted, absorbed through fun, hands- on lab stations! 🥼

Last week our 4th graders took a trip back in time at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site in Alto, Texas! Students explored the rich history and culture of the Caddo people, walked the ancient mounds, and learned about how the Caddo tribe lived, worked, and thrived right here in East Texas. It was an amazing hands-on experience that brought our Texas history lessons to life! ❤️📚

🏈🎉 Jersey Day & Dress Alike Day kicked off Day 2 of Red Ribbon Week with amazing school spirit! Our 2nd Graders showed incredible unity, reminding us all that "Teamwork Solves the Puzzle every day."🧩💙 Together, we are stronger! #RedRibbonWeek #OwensElementary

Join us Thursday, Oct. 30 from 5:30–7:00 p.m. in the bus parking lot for a fang-tastic evening of candy, games, food, and fun!

Hosted by the Tyler Legacy Student Council with help from campus organizations — plus a special visit from the Tyler ISD Literacy Bus! 📚✨

From mismatched socks to colorful outfits, everyone celebrated how special and unique they are!
