Mr. Howard demonstrated a keen ability to not only get students collaborating on notes, but actively processing and making meaning of the content in real time as a team. Winning teams celebrated with a Ruby’s taco bar lunch, and Santa Sherman spread cheer with Crumbl cookies and milk for everyone who participated.

Congratulations to the Tyler Legacy Debate Team! On Tuesday, they traveled to Pittsburg to compete in the NSDA District Congressional Debate Meet and THREE of them qualified to Nationals in the House of Representatives:

And getting ranked first by all three of his judges in finals, Myron Sinville
Nationals will take place in Richmond, Virginia in June.
Ronin Back also advanced to finals and is an alternate in the Senate. All those Legacy students competing did a great job and made their coach proud!

A HUGE shout out to our Freshmen football moms, especially April Box, for decorating and donating these beautiful Tyler Legacy themed Christmas trees for our front entry. They are so beautiful and festive and will be enjoyed many holiday seasons to come! 🎄🏈

Our Santa Letter Event was a huge success thanks to the holiday spirit of our students and staff!
✨ 313 letters were sent to Santa this year (with 17 students admitting they’ve been naughty 😉). Three students even wrote more than one letter—hoping to make the nice list twice!
🎁 Santa delivered gifts to over 35 students from their wish lists, spreading joy across campus.
A BIG thank you to Mr. Nguyen for leading this tradition and keeping the Christmas spirit alive at Tyler Legacy! And thank you to everyone who participated and made this event magical.

Additionally, 32 students have advanced to Area and will compete in January for the opportunity to be named to the All-State Band. Outstanding work and well deserved!
