3rd grade's "Final Tour" this week was a blast! A trip to the beach, glow day, & game day made up their final week together! 🏝️🎲🌟
4th grade spent the week camping & exploring nature in their final week together! 🏕️📚
After 6 years of work in elementary school, 5th grade took time this week to kick back, enjoy the sunshine, and celebrate with friends! ☀️🌳
5th grade celebrated finishing the book study Holes by Louis Sachar 🦎 with a themed room transformation. Students analyzed characters, completed an escape room, and enjoyed snacks inspired by the book. Special thanks to Clarkston Elementary PTO for providing grant to fund the snacks! 📖 🧠 💪

5th grade roller coaster project time is one of our favorite times of the year! These coasters were out of this world!🎢
One of our favorite traditions! After graduation our 5th graders signed their names on the back of our CES letters. When they are Tyler ISD seniors they can come back and see their names. ✍️ 🎓
Our 5th graders were rewarded for their hard work on their end of year testing. The more growth they showed the more water balloons they earned to throw at their teachers! 💦 🎈
Our 4th grade cougars had a blast at our annual 4th grade trip to The Boulders! 🎣🐾

3rd grade explored animal habitats this week to prepare for their Creature Teacher visit. After researching and deciding upon a habitat, students planned out their habitat on paper, and ended their project with a 3D habitat build with STEM materials or paper. Great job 3rd grade! 🐾
Yesterday we hosted the last behavior party of the year! A FOAM PARTY! 🫧
Thank you to a Clarkston parent, Mr. De La Garza, and American State Bank for coming to talk to kindergarten about the creation of & saving money! Each of our kindergartners took home a piggy bank to start saving their money at home! 💰🐾
We wrapped up the year with a fun and delicious 5th Grade Cookout! Our students got to enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs hot off the grill! Thanks to the generous support of our amazing PTA for donating all of our hot dogs!!
From the grill masters to the helping hands at the serving tables, and of course the smiling faces of our students, it was a day full of good food, laughter, and great memories.
