🎨🐾 Our 3rd graders explored grid drawing through Animal Expressionism in Art! 🖌️ They used grids to carefully sketch animals and practiced adding expression and personality to their work. From bold outlines to creative details, their drawings show just how much focus and imagination they put in. 🌟 We are so proud of their effort—our school is filled with amazing masterpieces! 🖼️✨ 💬 Drop your favorite animal emoji to celebrate their hard work! 🐘🦉🐳

Our Cougars are reading on Beanstack and we have been awarded the Igniter Award for creating a reading culture at Clarkston. Your student can read at home and school to earn points for rewards.📚📚

🔬🏗️ In STEM class, our Cougars are showing how teamwork really stacks up! The cup stacking challenge has them building towers, problem-solving, and stacking up smiles along the way. 🐾👏

📚🏠🧱 Mrs. Utz’s pre-K crew is busy learning through play—whether it’s whipping up fun in the home station, building big ideas with blocks, or diving into stories in the library station! Every corner of the classroom sparks imagination, creativity, and growth. 🌟

💙🐾 Today was extra special—our Cougars got to share lunch with their amazing Grandfriends! Smiles, stories, and hugs filled the cafeteria as generations came together to celebrate the heart of our school family. 🥪✨

📚✏️ 1st Grade Mathematicians at Work! ✏️📚 Our 1st graders started building their very own Math Notebooks 🧮✨ These special notebooks will help them grow into problem solvers and math thinkers all year long! 🎉🔬 4th Grade Science Fun Alert! 🔬🎉 They played a game called “What’s the Matter?” – a science twist on the classic Headbandz game! 🧠✨ Students had to guess their mystery word using physical properties like: 👉 🔹 Color 👉 🔹 Texture 👉 🔹 Shape 👉 🔹 State of Matter 🙌 The classroom was filled with excitement, teamwork, and lots of “aha!” moments as students reviewed and reinforced their knowledge of physical properties in a fun, hands-on way. 💡 Science + Games = Learning that sticks! 🌟 #4thGradeScience #WhatsTheMatter #PhysicalProperties #ScienceIsFun
