We are the proud owners of a baby chick! Our science classes are learning about life cycles, and we have a live stream going to monitor the hatching of our chicken eggs. 🥚 🐣 🎥
4th grade used their knowledge of area and perimeter to create 2D robots that can do their chores at home! 🧠 💪 🤖
Earlier this week coding club used Makey Makey circuits and bananas to make MUSIC! 🎶 🍌 🧠 💪

Getting ready for STAAR the LAVA WAY!
Reading started with cooling off outside with a book. Then, the 4th graders prepared themselves to enter the volcano 🌋 that erupted in their classroom over the night. Students had to complete 20 math problems to escape the lava mountain. 🏔️
Students who got "burned" had to make it to the pond in rocket time to cool off! 😎 🐾
3rd grade survived Emoji Island today! They are ready to master the math STAAR! 🤓🧠🐾

Mrs. Mercer's 4th graders are preparing for math STAAR next week! Yesterday, they played a review game and students could hunt for Easter eggs in the classroom to earn points or cute bunnies! 🐰 🧠 💪
