🧊🎉 Frozen Victory for Our 3rd Graders! 🎉🧊 Tuesday, our amazing 3rd graders celebrated a Frozen Victory for their growth in i-Ready — and they earned every sip of those slushies! 🥤💙 These students have been working hard, showing perseverance, focus, and determination in both reading and math. Clarkston Elementary School has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday February 16, 2026.

About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/oGNrpS/1?utm=email and following the simple instructions.

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

What a fun way to start our day with UT Tyler Women's Basketball! 🏀🐾

Mrs. Utz's PK class made beautiful snowflakes, did a science experiment to create fake snow, and built the cutest snowmen today! ⛄🧪✂️ The classroom was full of smiles, creativity, and winter magic. They're all crossing their fingers and toes for real snow this weekend! 🤞❄️

☕✨ Starbucks Mode in Anderson’s 3rd Grade! ✨☕ On Friday, Mrs. Anderson's 3rd graders were buzzing with focus, teamwork, and a whole lot of math magic! Students rotated through stations, tackled multiplication and problem-solving, used their resources, and showed what productive learning really looks like. From hands-on practice and independent work to a little Starbucks-style celebration at the end, these kids absolutely crushed it! 💪📊🧠 So proud of their hard work, perseverance, and positive attitudes.
