💧📚 4th Grade Hydration Station Celebration! 📚💧 On Friday, our 4th graders celebrated their Unit 4 Reading Assessment growth in the sweetest way — with a Hydration Station! 🥤✨ These students have been working HARD on comprehension, constructed responses, vocabulary, and truly thinking deeper about what they read. Their growth showed… and we celebrated it! 🎉 Each student created their own custom hydration cup and enjoyed a refreshing treat while we recognized the progress they’ve made this unit. 🚀🪐 Out of This World Learning in 3rd Grade! 🪐🚀 Shilling's 3rd Grade Science class has been busy exploring the solar system! 🌎✨ Students worked in research groups to dive deep into their assigned planets. They used technology, books, and teamwork to gather facts, discuss findings, and create large, detailed posters to teach others about their planet. From Mercury to Saturn to Uranus and Earth — these students became true planet experts! 🌟 Throughout this project, they practiced: 🔎 Research skills 💬 Academic discussions 🤝 Collaboration & teamwork 📝 Informational writing 🎨 Creative presentation The best part? Watching them problem-solve together, divide responsibilities, and take pride in their finished projects. The confidence they showed while explaining their planet facts was incredible! Science is so much more than memorizing facts — it’s curiosity, collaboration, and discovery. And these 3rd graders showed ALL of it! 💫 We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. 🤠 It’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Tuesday, and we’re celebrating two of our Toy Story stars — Mrs. Becker and Mr. Cooks! 🌟 Mrs. Becker is a fierce advocate for her Pre-K Deaf Ed students and brings our community together through weekly ASL classes, while Mr. Cooks ensures students always have access to learning and keeps our campus smiling with his humor. Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday February 16, 2026.

About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
