Congratulations to Rafaell Lozano, a 5th grade student at Caldwell Arts Academy, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month.

Rafaell is a friendly, well-rounded student who consistently leads by example. Whether he is focused on his classroom work, encouraging his classmates or participating in school activities, he approaches each opportunity with enthusiasm and dedication. His ability to positively influence those around him has made him a standout member of the Caldwell community.

A talented performer, Rafaell is an active member of the school’s theatre program and has earned the leading role in this year’s musical. Taking on a leading role requires confidence, preparation and a willingness to work as part of a team, and Rafaell has demonstrated all three. His involvement in theatre has given him an opportunity to share his talents while continuing to grow as a leader and performer.

Rafaell’s leadership abilities were evident even before he officially stepped into a leadership role at school. Last year, he stood out during teacher interviews, demonstrating confidence and maturity beyond his years. This year, he has embraced a formal leadership role and continues to show that leadership is about more than having a title; it is about setting a positive example for others.

From the classroom to the stage, Rafaell represents the character, creativity and commitment that make Caldwell Arts Academy special. His teachers and classmates can count on him to work hard, support others and bring a positive spirit to everything he does.

Congratulations to Rafaell Lozano on being named Tyler ISD District Student of the Month and for showing what it truly means to be a Caldwell Star!

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
