Tyler ISD proudly recognizes Tia Johnson, honoring her exceptional dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success.
A phenomenal reading teacher, Ms. Johnson is known as a relentless advocate for her students. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every student is supported and empowered to succeed. Her classroom is a welcoming and engaging space where students feel valued and genuinely want to be.
Ms. Johnson is also the first to step up whenever a need arises on campus. Whether she is assisting with Rotary Club activities, supporting UIL competitions, or even learning and performing a hip hop routine at the school’s Dance Showcase, she gives her time and energy without hesitation. Her enthusiasm and positive spirit make a lasting impact on both students and staff.
Her commitment is especially evident as she organizes a campuswide STAAR pep rally, complete with fun games and a local DJ, transforming a typically stressful time into a celebration of encouragement and motivation.
Most importantly, Ms. Johnson does it all out of a deep care for her students’ futures. Tyler ISD is proud to recognize her for embodying excellence and inspiring success every day.
