🎃🧡 Mrs. Hall’s Kindergarten friends had a fun time exploring all things pumpkins! We practiced labeling the parts of a pumpkin, learned about the pumpkin life cycle, explored different pumpkin colors, counted the lines on our pumpkins, and even investigated whether pumpkins sink or float! 🎃🔍
📚 We also enjoyed reading pumpkin-themed books while practicing identifying characters and setting and retelling the story!
To top it all off, we got hands-on and harvested all the seeds and pulp! What a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and making memories! 🎃🧡🍁

Our Storybook Character Pumpkin Contest is underway!
We’ve already had some AMAZING pumpkins make their way to the library, and we can’t wait to see more! Students can bring in their storybook character pumpkins now through October 23 to be displayed in the library all month long.
A few important reminders: please don’t carve your pumpkin or use any food items for decorating and if you have the book your character comes from, bring it along so we can display it with your pumpkin. 📚🎃

Last week in Pre-K the students learned about community helpers! Special visitors including the Tyler Fire Department, Tyler Police Officer, and the UT Tyler Mobile Trailer visited with our young Rangers!
The Rangers were rodeo-ready! We celebrated the kickoff of the East Texas State Fair on Friday, and our very own Ranger, Maya, won the Mutton Bustin' contest at the rodeo Friday night!
