5th Grade Music Spotlight! Our 5th graders are becoming real musicians through a score study of Cidade Maravilhosa, one of the pieces they’ll perform in our upcoming Fall Showcase! Before we perform the music, students are learning how to really read, analyze, and understand what’s on the page. Through score study, students are: 🎼 identifying notes, rhythms, meter, and musical symbols ✏️ marking important information directly in their music 👀 following a musical score while listening 🧠 strengthening music-reading, focus, and critical-thinking skills 🎤 connecting what they see on the page to what they hear and eventually perform We’re not just learning a song—we’re learning how musicians prepare music for performance! 🍂🎶 #MusicEducation #5thGradeMusic #ScoreStudy #YoungMusicians #FallShowcase
