Our campus hosted a successful Fiesta de STAAR transformation where students engaged in meaningful literacy activities in a fun and festive environment. Students practiced sequencing, discussed character dialogue, wrote summaries, made predictions, and explored figurative language all while strengthening their academic skills. As they worked, they enjoyed nachos and refreshing aguas frescas!

Today we'd like to highlight some of our amazing Ramey artists! 🎨
We had six students whose artwork was entered into the Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM) on Saturday, March 7th. Their artwork was graded by a professional in the art world including professors, working artists, and other jurors. Their work was graded on a scale of 1-12 and was given a rating of Growing, Good, or Exemplary. We even had one artist selected for Top of TEAM!
