Today we'd like to highlight some of our amazing Ramey artists! 🎨
We had six students whose artwork was entered into the Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM) on Saturday, March 7th. Their artwork was graded by a professional in the art world including professors, working artists, and other jurors. Their work was graded on a scale of 1-12 and was given a rating of Growing, Good, or Exemplary. We even had one artist selected for Top of TEAM!

Naraly Hernandez (4th grade): Top of TEAM
Elsa Dotson (5th grade): Exemplary
Hayzel Humber (2nd grade): Exemplary
Landen Martinez (4th grade): Exemplary
Sarai Monsivais (5th grade): Good
Izabella Moore (1st grade): Growing (This was the first time that a Kindergartener or 1st grader was entered in this contest, so she did an amazing job!)

Congratulations to these talented artists, and a huge thank you to Ms. Hulcy for making it happen!

Guess what? Here at Ramey, we are now CERTIFIED DIGITAL CITIZENS! 💻🌟

This week we received our campuswide Digital Citizenship certification through Common Sense Media. In order to receive this certification, students across all grade levels were taught responsible and safe behaviors to use when going online with help from Common Sense Media. We taught these lessons using CCR rotations and through the library. If you would like to have productive conversations with your student about digital citizenship at home, check out the link below!
