Thank You to Our Families and Community Partners We extend our sincere gratitude to our families, staff, and community stakeholders for the incredible support shown during our Fourth and Fifth Grade Black History Celebration. Your presence, encouragement, and partnership made this event meaningful, memorable, and impactful for our students. A special thank you to the Ramey Elementary administration and staff for their leadership, dedication, and behind-the-scenes work that brought this celebration to life. We are also deeply grateful to our families and community supporters whose continued involvement strengthens our school community. We offer heartfelt appreciation to our district and community partners: Ralph E. Guess what? Here at Ramey, we are now CERTIFIED DIGITAL CITIZENS! 💻🌟

This week we received our campuswide Digital Citizenship certification through Common Sense Media. In order to receive this certification, students across all grade levels were taught responsible and safe behaviors to use when going online with help from Common Sense Media. We taught these lessons using CCR rotations and through the library. If you would like to have productive conversations with your student about digital citizenship at home, check out the link below!

It's National School Counseling Week, and we'd like to say a big THANK YOU to Ms. Mumphrey for all of the amazing things she does every day! Between morning announcements, character lessons, building relationships with students and staff, and so much more, Ms. Mumphrey always finds ways to add value to our campus. Did you know that February 4th is World Read Aloud Day?
To celebrate, listen to Malcolm Mitchell (a former New England Patriots’ wide receiver!) read his book, “My Very Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World” then design a bookmark showcasing some of your favorite things!
We will vote on our favorite designs, then the winning design will be copied and shared from the library.

Submissions are due to the library by February 27th. Happy reading!

We would love for parents and family members to host some of our game stations by bringing a favorite board or table game. School will be closed on January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We hope you have a safe three day weekend, and we will see you back in class on January 20th!

5th graders were all smiles while they visited Moore MST Magnet School today! Students got to explore many CTE, science, and technology programs offered and even get some hands on experience. Thank you to the students and staff at Moore for showing us around!

Parents! This Friday, December 19th is EARLY RELEASE for students. Car riders and walkers will be released at 12:45pm. Bus riders will be released at 1:15pm when the buses arrive. Please make arrangements to pick up your students on time. There will be no after school programs on this day.
