Exciting News! Mrs. Martin’s class has achieved the top spot for the 4th nine weeks in Math and Reading! 🏆📚 Not only did they place highest in skills and top hours per student, but they also earned the title of “Classroom Growth Champion of the district” for the 2023-2024 school year with over 100 skills mastered per student! 🦅📝

In the library this week, 5th graders are taking a trip down memory lane as they look at the very first and the very last book they ever checked out at Owens. These future middle schoolers are loving getting to see how their book choices changed from being the youngest eagles to being the oldest!

4th grade went to the Heritage Museum near Canton to see what life was like as a Texan in the early 1900s. They were so inspired, they came back and made their own butter! 🧈
