Our Eagles are SO excited that our wonderful PTA "granted" our wish to have a set keyboard pianos in Music class! With the grant that was approved, we received 25 keyboards, rechargeable batteries, and a class set of headphones.
Our Pre-K students were the first to test them out today and we couldn't be more thankful!

You are invited to the Tyler ISD Parent Connection Event for Parents of Students with Disabilities on April 4, 2023 @ Wayne D. Boshears Center from 3:30-6:30pm. Come and visit with local community agencies and representatives about resources that may benefit your student and family.
Coach Drain wants to thank Coach Jacobson and the Tyler Junior College Apache Football team for volunteering their time in PE today! Our Eagles had a great day playing with these college athletes, and listening to them speak about the importance of college in our Eagle’s future! 🦅🏈

On Thursday, March 30th, our 1st grade eagles will be performing their music program, "SQUIRM!" 🕷️🦇🐍
Our students have been working so very hard on this program the last three months, and are so excited to present it to you! 🐛
Students should arrive no later than 5:45PM to the cafeteria. A reminder note will be going home this week.

Our campus was crawling with teacher doppelgängers today for Dress Like a Teacher day! We had fun celebrating so many class successes during this week's dress up days! 🤩💙🦅
We had a special visitor at Owens! Hallie, the jersey milk cow! Students in pre-k, kinder, and 4th grade learned about how milk helps keep our bones and body healthy. They also got to see a live milking demonstration!
Howdy y’all! Our Eagles worked up a sweat while roping and riding in the PE Rodeo! 🤠🐂💙❤️

On Thursday, March 9th, our Owens 2nd grade class will be performing the program "GO FISH!". The students have been working very hard the past couple months and are so excited to perform for everyone. We would LOVE to have you!

The Lighthouse Committee had an opportunity to meet with the Sheriff’s Department, including K9 Officer Jack! Their February service project, Love for Law Enforcement, also included Q&A session with the officers and a tour of the different vehicles!
