Last week our 4th graders took a trip back in time at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site in Alto, Texas! Students explored the rich history and culture of the Caddo people, walked the ancient mounds, and learned about how the Caddo tribe lived, worked, and thrived right here in East Texas. It was an amazing hands-on experience that brought our Texas history lessons to life! ❤️📚

🌹 A Royal Visit to Owens Elementary! 🌹

A huge thank you to our beautiful Rose Queen, Avery Armstrong, for taking the time yesterday to visit our second-grade girls and personally invite them to the Queen’s Tea! 👑

It was truly the talk of second grade! The girls were so excited to dress up, meet a real Rose Queen, and felt so honored to be invited to her Queen’s Tea. The smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the room as they experienced this special moment together. 💫
