If you are pre-registered for kindergarten or fifth grade graduation you do not have to come to the front office. You may enter at the back entrance or the café entrance, but you do not need to come into the office to register if you are pre-registered.

Our 3rd–5th Grade Field Day was a success. Congratulations to the winners of each event and to all students for demonstrating outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. Events like this build community and develop soft skills — collaboration, resilience, and healthy competition — that benefit students beyond the classroom.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Pre-K through 2nd grade field day! It was a day full of fun, laughter, teamwork, and success. We loved seeing our students enjoy every moment and appreciate all the families, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day so special!

PTA is seeking parent volunteers to support event stations and ensure a safe, positive experience for students. Interested in contributing your time? Please sign up via the PTA Cheddar Up form:

For Kindergarten and 5th Grade Graduation, families are strongly encouraged to complete pre-check before the event. Pre-check is currently open to come in person to the front office. There is no link.
Guests who are physically with a parent/guardian who has completed pre-check may receive a visitor sticker at the pre-check station and enter together.
Guests who are not pre-checked and are not physically with a pre-checked parent/guardian will need to check in through the front office before entering. To be checked in through the front office, guests must either be listed on the student’s contact information or have parent/guardian approval provided to the school no later than noon on May 21st.

Reminder: Please mark your calendars for Owens Elementary Graduation Day on Friday, May 22, 2026, in the cafeteria. Kindergarten ceremony at 8:00 AM; 5th grade at 9:30 AM. We look forward to celebrating our students' achievements and hope to see many community members in attendance.
