We hope you have an amazing summer! Before you go... we are still thinking about these amazing projects from Ms. Dewberry's 3rd grade math classes. Students worked so hard and were so proud! We can't wait to do amazing projects like this again with you next year! Have a safe summer and we will see you back in August!
Our hallways were filled with cheers this morning as teachers and students celebrated the accomplishments of our fifth grade cubs with a parade! Congratulations on all of your hard work this year, students! We are so excited to see the wonderful things you do in the future!

Last night's 1st - 4th grade award ceremony was so wonderful! Our staff was so honored to give each student who attended their classroom awards for the year. Thank you so much to First Baptist Church for hosting us in your beautiful facility. Students, we have enjoyed you every moment of this year!
Our GT showcase was a hit! Students built inventions based on found materials and created presentations on their creations. What a great way to spotlight the ingenuity of our students! #ExcellentEveryday
We had an amazing start to the morning with the AVID senior walk! Our Kinder and 1st grade students were so excited to see these seniors celebrate their accomplishments!
Our Kinder cubs had a great time at Camp Tyler yesterday! Students got to meet animals and learn about life on a farm. It was a wonderful day!
Orr families, a work crew doing construction nearby broke our main water line, and the repairs are going to take longer than anticipated. We are prepared to have a normal school day. Drinking water will be provided, along with lunch, and we have the ability for students and staff to use the restrooms.
If you would like to pick up your child from school early, you are more than welcome to. Boys and Girls Club will be canceled for today. Bus riders will stay on their normal schedule.

The Orr Elementary Springfest was incredibly fun for students!
We can't wait to see you at Springfest tonight! The times are 5:30-6:30 for Pre K - 2nd grade and 6:30 -7:30 for 3rd - 5th grade. Come out for an evening of games, food trucks, and fun!
The Orr students had an amazing day at Arts Fest last weekend! We have a few students that won ribbons for their Orr-mazing artwork.
