✨ And last, but certainly not least…we concluded this Monday at the monthly Tyler ISD School Board Meeting by celebrating our District's Elementary Teacher of the Month – Mrs. Maria Anza Goni! 🎉
Mrs. Anza Goni is a visiting teacher from Spain who, in just two years, has reached the highest level of mastery in the Top Teacher program. Her dedication and hard work have made a huge impact—she has dramatically increased the passing rate in 3rd grade bilingual reading STAAR scores from 63% to 87%! 📚👏

📚🦁 Orr Elementary had some special visitors on Friday! The Tyler High Lion football players came to read to our students ahead of their big game.
Even though the Lions didn’t take home the victory on the field, they reminded us all that true champions shine in the classroom. 🌟 Our students loved getting to learn, laugh, and read alongside these role models.
