
The Orr Elementary Springfest was incredibly fun for students!






We can't wait to see you at Springfest tonight! The times are 5:30-6:30 for Pre K - 2nd grade and 6:30 -7:30 for 3rd - 5th grade. Come out for an evening of games, food trucks, and fun!


The Orr students had an amazing day at Arts Fest last weekend! We have a few students that won ribbons for their Orr-mazing artwork.

Excellent Orr teachers celebrating our Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year!



We want to give a huge shout out to our Rose City Book Battle team, who competed against other teams in the district this morning and won 4th place in the competition! These students read all six books from the Rose City Book Battle book list and used their knowledge to answer questions with speed and accuracy to gain points against other schools. Our students are truly excellent!



It's Assistant Principal Appreciation week! We want to give a huge shout out to our Assistant Principals, Mr. Brazell and Mrs. Scott, for all the amazing things that they do on our campus every day. Thank you for leading by example and bringing positivity to our campus every day! We are so thankful for you! #ExcellentEveryday



2nd grade cubs were so excited to meet Officer Shane and Sully the K-9 today! Thank you to Mrs. Rogers and the rest of the second grade team for setting this up and showing our cubs how to be #ExcellentEveryday!


We want to give a special shout out to Deborah Amateco for winning 2nd place for 3rd grade in the Hoop and Shoot competition last weekend! Way to be #ExcellentEverday!

It may have been pajama day, but our cubs were going into Spring Break by breaking records in the library makerspace! Fourth graders from Ms. Gaines's class built the tallest tower, totaling at exactly 5 feet tall. Fifth graders from Ms. Navarrete's class built the longest chain, totaling at 35.8 feet! Our cubs are always excellent!

Check out our incredible 4th graders who participated in the Black History Living Museum for our campus this morning! Students researched an influential person from history and dressed up in costume to present about them! It was a wonderful morning!

Tomorrow's parent event is our 1st grade "Breakfast with the Books" from 7:15-8:00. Come with your student, enjoy a donut in the STEAM lab, and shop the Book Fair!
