Friday, Mrs. Jones and the Legacy counselors took our TJC Promise eligible seniors to visit Tyler Junior College to learn more about the TJC Promise program. Students toured campus, explored academic opportunities, and gained valuable information about next steps after graduation.

Out of more than 600 applicants, these outstanding students were selected through a rigorous process that included essays and interviews—an incredible achievement.
The UT Tyler Honors College offers an enriched academic experience designed for high-achieving students, featuring small seminar-style courses, interdisciplinary learning, independent research, and senior capstone projects. Students also benefit from faculty mentorship, leadership development, and a supportive community of driven peers.
This scholarship marks an exciting milestone as Vera and Sri continue their academic journeys and prepare for future leadership roles in their chosen fields.
