Ms. Baldwin’s Foundations of Career Prep class visited CHRISTUS Hospital today to learn about Project Search, one of Tyler ISD’s 18+ programs! Students got a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital environment, learned about the program’s expectations and opportunities, and even got to see current interns hard at work in various departments.
They also heard firsthand from former interns who are now proud employees of CHRISTUS Hospital! What a great day of learning, exploring, and planning for the future!

Today, Tyler Legacy’s physics teacher brewed up a lesson students won’t forget—literally! Mr. Ray demonstrated centrifugal force by making cowboy coffee in class. By swinging the coffee pot in a circle, the grounds stayed at the bottom, leaving a smooth cup of joe that cowboys, hillbillies, and Mr. H would all approve of. 🤠☕
Mr. Ray’s wit and humor are unmatched, making him a student favorite year after year. Whether it’s swirling coffee or breaking down tough physics concepts, he always finds a creative way to make learning unforgettable.

Congratulations to the Tyler Legacy Debate Team on their performance at the UIL Region Congressional Debate competition on Monday - 6 out of seven of our competitors advanced to the final round. Qualifying for UIL State in January at The University of Texas at Austin in January are Kenadi Carmichael, who won first place (again) and Myron Sinville, who won the bronze medal. Sanaa Salvi won sixth place, making her an alternate to State, while Baylen Raney, Ronin Back, and Mason Frazier all advanced to finals. Great job, Debate Team!
