Even though we couldn’t celebrate on Saturday, Tyler Legacy High School staff made sure Mr. Sherman still felt the love today! 🎉🍪
We surprised him with a cookie cake and a whole lot of appreciation to make up for the missed birthday celebration. It’s always a great day when we can come together to celebrate the people who make our school so special. Happy (belated) Birthday, Mr. Sherman! 🥳💙

Big congratulations to Tyler Legacy senior and Varsity cheerleader Star Johnson on signing her letter of intent to continue her cheer career at Texas State University! 🎉📣
If you’ve ever watched Tyler Legacy cheer perform, you already know Star. Her energy, precision, and incredible tumbling make her impossible to miss. Principal Sherman and Coach Berfeld both describe her as the exclamation point at the end of every routine—and it’s easy to see why. She consistently brings the crowd to its feet and elevates every performance.
We are so proud of you, Star, and can’t wait to see all you accomplish at the next level. Once a Raider, always a Raider! ❤️🖤

🎉 Walk Through Wednesday Champion of the Week 🎉
Shoutout to this week’s champion, Mrs. McGough, our incredible CTE teacher for both intro to Engineering and Technology! 🛠️🥚
Mrs. McGough’s engineering students took learning to new heights—literally! After designing and building their own egg drop devices, students gathered in Tyler Legacy’s front lobby to put their creations to the test. The excitement was real as they watched to see which contraptions could successfully keep their eggs intact!
This hands-on, collaborative experience is a perfect example of engaging, real-world learning that challenges students to think critically, problem-solve, and work together.
Way to go, Mrs. McGough, for bringing innovation and energy to the classroom! 👏

Thank you to all staff and community members for your contribution to this successful season!

Tyler legacy students and cross country members Mason Maldonado and Avery Buenaventura got to meet Cooper Lutkenhaus (record-breaking American high school middle-distance runner who, at age 17, became the youngest-ever World Indoor 800m champion in March 2026) at Jesuit.
