WOOOOOOO!!
These singers competed against 5A and 6A schools from two different Regions to secure a spot in the East Texas Region Choir and advance to Round 2 of the All State Choir audition process!
They prepared SIX college level songs (on top of their class choir music) and sight sang ACAPELLA (no accompaniment) a piece of music they had NEVER seen beforehand with only 30 seconds to study it...!
🌟 Regular attendance helps kids feel better about school—and themselves! 💼 Good attendance is a skill that will help them succeed in high school and beyond. 🎓

Huge shoutout to the Southern Belle Drill Team and Varsity Cheer for their awesome performances, and of course, to our Big Red Band for rocking it with special guest musicians from Hubbard, Three Lakes, and Moore Middle Schools! 🎶👏
We also had a fun table race between Baseball and Basketball, with Baseball taking the win! ⚾️🏆 And a special congrats to Coach Sizemore and our Tennis teams—Varsity and JV are killing it this season! 🎾💪 Extra props to JV for winning the District Championship last night for the third year in a row! 🏆🔥

We are so proud of Tyler Legacy Tennis! Last night Tyler Legacy JV1 and Varsity took the win over Forney 19-0 in the last district match of the fall season !! Legacy finished 10-3 on the season and went undefeated in district play this season 6-0!! Legacy wins the District 10-6A Championship for a third time in a row!! #Rose🆙

We had a great Start with Hello week last week at Tyler Legacy. This movement was created by Sandy Hook Promise to help promote kindness, connection, inclusion, empathy, and belonging. Each day had a different activity and theme to help us celebrate!
Activities ranged from adding to our Upstander Wall in the cafe, name tags to help us learn each other's names, wearing green, filling each other's buckets, and more! 💚

💚Monday: Make a Difference Monday - There will be an Upstander Wall of Fame in the cafe today. Stop by during lunch and put a post-it on the wall to thank someone for standing up for you or that made you feel included!
💚Tuesday: Name Tag Tuesday - Try to meet someone new on campus! Stop by the tables at the front of the school or cafeteria during breakfast to grab a nametag to wear. Make it a point to introduce yourself to someone you don't know!
💚Wednesday: Wear Green to symbolize unity and solidarity
💚Thursday: Thoughtful Thursday - Be intentional about connecting with others. Use conversation starters posted in the hallways to reach out and connect.
💚Friday: Fill a Bucket Friday - Make sure to fill someone's bucket today! We have "Notes of Kindness" available in the cafeteria for you to grab during your lunch. Give the note to one of your peers today to make them feel special!
