
We have had such a blast celebrating Mr. Sherman's birthday today. Students and staff decked out in their Disney gear to bring all the Disney joy to our campus for the special occasion. He was also showered with treats, gifts, cards, and high fives and fist bumps from students and staff all day. Staff was treated with a spread of Disney treats to add to the perfect birthday celebration! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. SHERMAN! Thank you for all you do!

Tyler Legacy Theatre is BEYOND EXCITED to announce that they have been recognized by Broadway Dallas for their outstanding work in their fall musical, Something Rotten. Legacy received a nomination for Outstanding Musical and has a record-breaking FOUR Outstanding Lead Performers nominated - Jerard Mosley, Fabiola Caraballo, Zach Combs and Max Payne. The musical was also nominated for Outstanding Music Direction for the amazing work by Jabryn Carston. These students and our entire cast will compete at Broadway Dallas on May 24th for the chance to go to NYC and earn the coveted Jimmy Award. Please share this amazing news, and let everyone know that Tyler Legacy Theatre is a force in the musical theatre field, and you will be seeing these students make it big one day!

Tyler Legacy Good Vibrations traveled to Carthage as part of the UIL Region 21 HS Concert and Sightreading Evaluation/Contest. We came away with a Superior rating for our stage performance and Excellent in the sight-reading room.
Good Vibrations will have their Spring Pops show on Thursday, April 25th.

We are delighted to share that the Tyler Legacy Winter Guard has achieved the prestigious title of GRAND CHAMPIONS! This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Out of 81 competing units in their classification, our color guard claimed 1st place with their exceptional performance. This outstanding accomplishment is the result of the countless hours of practice, determination, and passion that our members have poured into perfecting their show.
We are immensely proud of our color guard for their incredible achievement and for representing our school with such excellence. Congratulations to all the members, instructors, and supporters who have contributed to this remarkable success!


Tyler Legacy Track and Field boys broke the DMR school record this morning at the Jesuit Sheaner Relays previously set at Texas Relays in 2016 (11:05.28). The new record is 10:58.12. Congratulations to Johnathan Rodriguez-Arroyo, Iyan Birdow, Miller East, and Michael Peveto.


Congratulations to Tyler Legacy Theatre! They are advancing to the District 10, 6A Bi-District UIL Competition. Their production of MacBeth was spell-binding and earned them well-deserved recognition! A special congrats to JJ Toly (All-Star Tech), Steven Young (All-Star Cast), Hailey Hurst (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast) and Zach Combs (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast). We couldn't be more proud of our entire company for a job well done!
