Legacy Choir is looking for more student singers! We need people who love music and are interested in becoming better, stronger singers. You don't have to know how to read music to start and you don't have to already be a "good" singer- Mrs. VanOrden will teach you how! If you love music and enjoy singing, come by the choir room (FA115, on the way to the gyms) and chat or email beth.vanorden@tylerisd.org to discover the music in you!

We are so happy to have our Raiders back on campus today for the first day of school! No first day would be complete without a greeting from our Tyler Legacy drumline, cheerleaders, Southern Belle Drill team, and a fist bump from the best principal, Mr. Sherman!
We had a great turnout from the Red Mob at the Varsity volleyball game last night!
They will be hosting the Tyler ISD Volleyball Invitational tomorrow in the Legacy gym! Games will start at 12pm, 2 pm, and 5pm!
We have the BEST Student Council around. They surprised our staff with a sweet treat before our staff meeting this afternoon! We are so thankful for all the support they show staff and our school. 💗🍦🍧

We had a great turnout last night at Fish Camp! We started with a fun pep rally in the gym with Red Raider Band, Southern Belle Drill Team, Cheer, and a quick word from Principal Sherman before attendees were able to get their schedules and find their classes! We can't wait to see you all on the first day of school next Wednesday, August 14 at 8:15!
If you were unable to get your schedule, they will be available to all Tyler Legacy students on the the student portal this afternoon!

Tyler Legacy staff has had a week full of learning! On Monday we hosted our annual Legacy Leads+ professional development day on campus. This day is designed for our many teacher leaders to teach their peers on various topics to set us up for a successful year. Sessions ranged from lesson engagement with raid boxes and project-based learning, managing the block schedule, AP testing, building relationships, technology, and more! We are thankful for our many teacher leaders and time to collaborate and learn from each other!
