This past Friday the Hubbard Symphonic Band represented Hubbard in the Region 21 UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest. They had an amazing performance and brought home an "excellent" rating from the stage judges and a "superior" rating from the sight-reading judges. We are so proud of their hard work this semester and cannot wait to see them perform again on May 6th!

Last week our Husky Symphonic Band had the opportunity to work on their UIL program with the Tyler Legacy HS Band. They had a blast getting to know their future band friends and getting better at their music. You can see them perform this music for the first time on March 26th at the Hubbard Main Gym at 6:30pm. Go Huskies!

Husky Choir is BACK! We had 2 choirs attend the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation this past Wednesday in Whitehouse. Our Tenor/Bass Choir received a rating of EXCELLENT on stage and our Treble Choir received a SUPERIOR rating on stage! Go Huskies!!




The Husky Choir members attended Solo and Ensemble Contest today. Our students received 32 1st Division (Superior) medals and 18 2nd Division (Excellent) medals! We are so proud of our Husky Choir!

A HUGE Husky congratulations to our March Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Canfield! From dissecting frogs to investigating the digestive system, Mrs. Canfield goes above and beyond to foster inquiry and exploration in her 7th grade Science class! Our PACK is proud to have her!


The Husky Concert Band performed at the Troup Pre-UIL Contest today and they did amazing! They represented Hubbard with their beautiful playing and had a blast performing. Way to go Husky Band!! 🎷🎺🎶




The Hubbard Symphonic Band will be performing at the 2024 Region 21 UIL Concert and Sight Reading this Friday. They have been working so hard preparing for this performance and we can't wait to see how they do! Wish our Huskies luck as they represent Hubbard Middle School this Friday!

Come and see our Husky Beginning Band in their Showcase Concert! They will be performing on February 22, 2024 in the Hubbard Gym at 6:30pm performing lots of classics and new music. We can't wait to see how much our new musicians have learned and grown!


Check out this amazing art work created by Ms. Bell's Honors Art classes! They have been working on Linocut Prints with a focus on nature. This past week they had to collaborate to pair their different carvings with one another, arrange them, select ink colors, and create their prints in groups.









Show and Tell Day-Re Mixed Middle School Style! Professional Communication kept the front office on their toes this week! . Point Shoes ,Electric Guitars, Baby Blankets, Duck Calls and Ferrets were on the list! This is such a special way to engage in personal communication amongst peers!







Congratulations to all the January Musicians of the Month! These Orchestra, Band, and Choir students are doing awesome things in the music classroom and show off how awesome our music programs are here at Hubbard.
