Our Huskies had a fun Friday in College and Career Readiness with Mrs. Studinka! Construction Managers from Tyler ISD came to share their personal experiences with high school & college pathways that included Construction Science, Engineering, and Architecture! Go Huskies! π§‘

Huskies wore Hawaiian yesterday for βIt Starts With Helloβ week! Go Huskies! π§‘

To kick off βIt Starts With Helloβ week, students in Mrs. Modesittβs advisory class wrote down some ideas for how you make new friends! We think theyβre on the right track, and we love how our students are looking for ways to be welcoming to others! Go Huskies! π§‘

Students in Mrs. Grahamβs 8th grade RLA class are learning from each other by participating in a Jigsaw and taking notes from each expert on a topic! They say the highest form of learning is teaching, and our Huskies are some great teachers!! Go Huskies! π§‘



VR week in Ms. Studinka class! Students get to experience and train in skilled trades that include everything from automotive, hospitality, and manufacturing jobs!




Hubbard Open House was π₯! We had such a blast and hope yβall did, too! Thank you Kona Ice and Traveling Tomβs Coffee Trucks, Hubbard PTA, DJ Dr. Smith, and Kornpop for making this event so memorable! Go Huskies! π§‘




Students in Ms. Veatchβs College and Career Readiness class begin independent research on their top three potential career options. They also are creating a βHighlight Meββ presentation that include skills, passions, interests, etc. to assist in their future careers. Several of these kiddos should add βcomedianβ to their skills π We know our Huskies have a bright future! Go Huskies! π§‘




Whatβs your favorite subject? Itβs not a toss up when it comes to lessons like these! πΎ Students in Mrs. Saczekβs math class had so much fun playing βIntegers Ladder Ball,β and we can see why! Our Hubbard teachers are so creative and work hard to make lessons fun and engaging! Go Huskies! π§‘




Hubbard 7th and 8th grade A teams took 1st place in the Tyler ISD Tournament today! Bump away any excuses, set high expectations, and spike down the competition! Congratulations to our girls!! Go Huskies! π§‘π

Itβs going to be the best, most fun, and most delicious open house to date! As the kids say, βitβs finna be LIT!β π₯ We are going to have a DJ and PTA Spirit Gear Sales, but thatβs not all! Kona Ice AND Travelling Tomβs Coffee Trucks will both be here to serve delicious shaved ice and coffee delights! So come on by, check in with our teachers so we can brag on all of the great things our Huskies are doing, pick up some more Hubbard drip, and have a sweet treat. We canβt wait to see you there! Learning about different type of economies in Mrs. Clarkstonβs 6th grade. Students chose between a sole proprietorship or partnership and then created a business plan, calculated costs and projected annual profit.
