Students got hands-on experience identifying metals, non-metals, and metalloids today in Mr. Thompsonβs 6th grade Science class! Husky Cross Country returned from District Middle School Championships with medals aplenty! Congratulations to all the XC runners for a great season filled with personal records and tons of miles.

AVID Tutorials are back in full swing. Students complete a Tutorial Request Form (TRF) over a problem they are confused. Their student peers then ask guiding questions to help lead their Student Presenter to understanding! This Socratic method ensures student learning, retention, and repetition is happening! To kick off βIt Starts With Helloβ week, students in Mrs. Modesittβs advisory class wrote down some ideas for how you make new friends! We think theyβre on the right track, and we love how our students are looking for ways to be welcoming to others! Go Huskies! π§‘

Students in Mrs. Grahamβs 8th grade RLA class are learning from each other by participating in a Jigsaw and taking notes from each expert on a topic! They say the highest form of learning is teaching, and our Huskies are some great teachers!! Go Huskies! π§‘



VR week in Ms. Studinka class! Students get to experience and train in skilled trades that include everything from automotive, hospitality, and manufacturing jobs!

They also are creating a βHighlight Meββ presentation that include skills, passions, interests, etc. to assist in their future careers.
