🎉 THE APEX COLOR BATTLE IS COMING TO HUBBARD! 🎉
On Monday, Nov. 7th, we will have launch pep rallies after every lunch period to explain how the fundraiser works. Throughout the next two weeks, we will have team days, packed with fun team building and challenges! On Nov. 18th, students will all receive color battle jerseys and take part in several team competitions as they prepare for the grand finale- an all out color battle party!
Pledge packets go home Monday, Nov. 7th!

LIBRARY TAKEOVER DAY!!! November is “National Novel Month” and November 1 is “National Authors Day.” Knowing this, Ms. Davis pulled out all of the stops to get Chris Fields to be a Husky for a Day! He donated 50% cost of book, “A Billion Hours of Good,” and led an author’s chat with our students via Microsoft Teams! Then the students had a Library Scavenger Hunt and Inference Stations! Way to go Ms. Davis and Mr. Pino, and a giant thank you to Mr. Fields!

Last week in Science the 7th graders measured out how long the digestive system was on a roll of paper. Can you believe it equals about 25 feet long? Somehow all of that fits into our abdomen! Amazing! Our Huskies have GUT knowledge! 😉

Chef Boyar V (aka Ms. Veatch) whipped up a recipe for success in her AVID class this Halloween! Students participated in an escape room to find the correct “ingredients” to help save their chef/teacher from her zombie state! Good news! All students were successful and Chef Boyar V was saved!

Homecoming theme today was “Cowboys vs. Aliens” and we had some amazing costumes on campus today! Nothing brings a smile to your face quite like seeing an alien walking to class! 👽🤠 Go Huskies! 🧡🐾
Oh my gourd! 🎃 These spooktacular AVID students used their brains 🧠 to build bootiful 👻 haunted mansions from scratch, and create Costa’s of thinking questions based on each level of their house. Just creepin it real, these kids are scary smart!! 🧟♂️🧛♂️
