This week Mrs. Freeman's 5th graders have been reading the book Holes by Louis Sachar. As they were listening to the chapters they worked on their Graffiti Chart where they visualized and doodled about the events of the book so far. 🕳️ 🦎 ☀️ 📖 🧠 💪
This week Mrs. Wheeler's 2nd graders are learning about area and perimeter. They used their math knowledge when they created art with their names! 🧠 💪

We are the proud owners of a baby chick! Our science classes are learning about life cycles, and we have a live stream going to monitor the hatching of our chicken eggs. 🥚 🐣 🎥

Ms. Ruesewald's 2nd graders are discovering what they can learn about a culture from studying different cultural celebrations. This week they are learning about Day of the Dead! 🇲🇽 🧠 💪
This week 1st grade is learning how to write letters to someone! ✉️ They are practicing writing the date, salutation, body, and signature. 📬 ✍️
Getting ready for STAAR the LAVA WAY!
Reading started with cooling off outside with a book. Then, the 4th graders prepared themselves to enter the volcano 🌋 that erupted in their classroom over the night. Students had to complete 20 math problems to escape the lava mountain. 🏔️
Students who got "burned" had to make it to the pond in rocket time to cool off! 😎 🐾
