The Grinch's Lair was a busy place in 4th grade today! Kudos to our 4th grade team for this engaging room transformation! Fractions, SCRs, story elements, reading, and problem solving all came together to make a day of learning fun!

⛸️🎉 Did you miss it? Our students had a *skating good time* at the Paper Plate Ice Skating Behavior Party! Students who showed excellent behavior during November and December earned this fun celebration, complete with paper plate “ice skating” and a tasty snack at the end. 🧃🍪

Our coders kicked off their Holiday Coding Projects this week, choosing between designing digital holiday greeting cards 💌, coding their own Christmas parade complete with floats and lights 🎅, or racing robot sleighs in the Sleigh Games 🛷. Our PK and Kindergarten students enjoyed a festive Thanksgiving feast and a fun Thankful Trail Mix activity! 🦃🍁 They learned about the First Thanksgiving while celebrating gratitude together.

Clarkston Coding Club wrapped up their Sphero Thanksgiving Harvest Challenge with creativity and teamwork! 🚜✨ Students built tractors around their robots using K’nex and coded them to harvest pom-pom crops across their farm map. 🍂🤖 Their problem-solving skills were on full display, and they had a blast bringing their designs to life! 🌽💡
