Our students competed against talented players from Hubbard, Three Lakes, Boulter, and Moore, showing great sportsmanship, critical thinking, and determination throughout the tournament. We are proud of the way they represented our school! π
Our Pre-K students in Ms. Valleβs class had a hands-on cultural learning experience this week as they made homemade tortillas! π« Students learned about traditions, cooking techniques, and the importance of family recipes while practicing teamwork and fine motor skills. The smiles on their faces showed just how much fun learning can be! β€οΈ
π Kindergarten had an amazing time on their field trip to Chuck E. Cheese today! ππΉοΈ Students learned all about push and pull forces and then got to put their learning into action through fun, hands-on games and activities. It was exciting to see our little learners connect science concepts to real-world experiences while making wonderful memories together! π‘β¨ Learning + fun = a perfect day for Kindergarten! β€οΈ

Yesterday our 5th graders had an unforgettable adventure! They visited the Dallas Cowboys Training Facility and got an inside look at where hard work, teamwork, and dedication come to life. They also explored the incredible immersive world of Meow Wolf β The Real Unreal, where creativity and imagination were around every corner. What a fun day full of learning, exploration, and memories our students will never forget! πβπ¨

Our 8th grade NJHS and Student Council students had an unforgettable opportunity during their behind-the-scenes tour at Caldwell Zoo! π¦π
Students learned about animal care, conservation efforts, daily zoo operations, and the important work that goes into keeping the zoo running smoothly. From meeting staff members to exploring areas guests normally do not see, this experience gave our students a unique look into teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in action.
We are so proud of these students for representing Birdwell with curiosity, respect, and leadership throughout the visit. Thank you to the staff at Caldwell Zoo for providing such an educational and memorable experience! ππ¦π
