Welcome Mrs. Gurrusquiera to our 5th grade team at Birdwell! She says, "being bilingual allows me to have an open mind when it comes to other cultures and facilitates communication with multiple people from different parts of the world. Also, being able to share conversations and experiences with my ancestors has been extraordinary."

We are excited to welcome Amanda Esparza to our Birdwell family. She will be joining our middle school team in math this year. Ms. Esparza says, βBeing bilingual allows me to meet people in many parts of the world. No matter where I am at, I always find a means to communicate through my two languages. Itβs truly liberating!β
