It was a beautiful day outside, and inside could not have been better at the Boulter Middle School Fine Arts Jazz Festival featuring the Helbing Jazz Initiative.
Seats were filled with community members, families of student performers, and fans of great music.
The choirs and band performances included students from Dixie Elementary, Boulter Middle, and Tyler High schools. The music ranged from Big-Band, traditional, contemporary Jazz, and Gospel.
All student performers had their time to shine and entertain the crowd.
Other top performers, local instrumentalists, and The East Texas Jazz Orchestra were well-received, with the audience clapping and toe-tapping along to the music.
Director of Fine Arts for Tyler ISD, Sandra Newton, was on hand to thank everyone for coming out to this all-ages free show and the talented performers for making this incredible day possible.
