Tyler Legacy High senior athlete Colleen Gilliland signed her letter of intent to play at the collegiate level Wednesday, February 2, in the foyer of the Legacy High Gymnasium. Colleen  gathered with her family, coach, and teammates as she signed her commitment to continuing her next-level soccer career at the University of Arkansas.

Colleen's parents joined her at the table, and her coach gave a heartfelt speech about her character, leadership, and performance on the field. Her teammates cheered and posed for photographs while enjoying a reception at the end of the school day that included cupcakes and other sweet treats.

Colleen was named team captain and her senior stats included 10 goals in 10 games and three assists.

Tyler Legacy Head Ladies Soccer Coach Chris Woodward stated, “She is a transfer from Longview this year and has blended in well with our Tyler Legacy family. We are extremely proud of her and all she has accomplished. She will do great things playing Division I soccer at the University of Alabama at Little Rock.”
