Congratulations to Yaralie Arredondo, 5th grade student at Bonner Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month for December.

Yaralie is always willing to help in any way that she can. She is such a leader in her own way, and she doesn't even realize it. She includes students that sometimes get left out or who don't always get picked first. She is always so kind and helpful to her classmates.

She is at  top of her class and masters all assessments for the district. She has a passion for learning, and she works hard at mastering all tasks, while always keeping a big smile on her face.

Yaralie is one of  most kindhearted human beings. She is definitely not one that follows the crowd. She marches to the beat of her own drum proudly and always chooses and builds positive and healthy relationships. (this is important and tough in 5th grade).

Congratulations, Yaralie!

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by Texas Bank and Trust.

Students are nominated by their teachers and/or school principal and are recognized for their excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus and community involvement.  These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
