Tyler ISD students are incredibly talented, award-winning artists. Beginning Saturday, May 22, this talent will be on display for all to see through the Tyler ISD Virtual Art Museum. Tyler Museum of Art and Texas Art Education Association are co-hosting the virtual museum to support and celebrate visual art in Tyler ISD.

“Tyler ISD Visual Arts is excited to present our inaugural Virtual Art Museum,” Tyler ISD Director of Visual and Performing Arts Sandra Newton said. “The Tyler ISD Virtual Art Museum is an exciting way to share and showcase the hard work of students and teachers this year. The artwork is fantastic, and we enjoy sharing these accomplishments with our community.”

Inside the virtual museum, viewers can select a Tyler ISD campus to view a gallery of student art pieces. Viewers can move through the gallery by following the directions on the screen. They can also click the art pieces to learn the inspiration behind them or select the image of the art teacher to learn more about that campus’s art program.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on May 22, viewers can access the Tyler ISD Virtual Art Museum by visiting here. The museum will close at 8 p.m. on May 29.
