Bonner Elementary School was full of energy and excitement as students and staff returned from Spring Break to a festive St. Patrickβs Day celebration designed to boost morale and bring smiles across campus. Thanks to the creativity of Principal Elizabeth Gomez and the support of generous community partners, the day was filled with fun surprises and plenty of green spirit.
To kick off the celebration, staff and students enjoyed refreshing green lemonade provided by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, adding a festive twist to the school day. However, the celebration didnβt stop there. Principal Gomez organized a playful campus-wide challenge that had everyone talking. Staff members were encouraged to search high and low for hidden leprechauns throughout the school. The friendly competition quickly became a highlight of the day, with laughter and teamwork on full display. The staff member who found the most leprechauns earned a special prize: a gift card to Stanleyβs Famous Pit Bar-B-Q.

Students and staff also joined in the celebration by wearing green and sporting festive necklaces generously provided by CHRISTUS Health. The added touches helped create a sense of unity and school pride, making the day memorable for everyone involved.

Principal Gomez shared her excitement about bringing joy to her campus after the break and expressed gratitude for the community partners who helped make the celebration possible. Events like this highlight the strong connections between Bonner Elementary and its supporters, while reminding everyone that learning environments thrive when there is joy, appreciation, and a little bit of fun mixed in.
