The adoption took place in the 321st District Court where nearly 45 fifth-grade students from Bell Elementary, where Cain attends school, filled the courtroom seats to support their friend. Their presence made the celebration even more meaningful, creating an atmosphere of love and encouragement that Cain will never forget.

Originally from Paris, Texas, Cain was placed in the Johnsons’ home in February 2024. Since that day, he has become an integral part of their family.

β€œCain is a joy to have around everywhere he goes,” his adoptive parents shared. β€œHe is kind, helpful and most spiritual. He is a member of Shiloh Road Church of Christ, where he serves communion every Sunday and is a greeter. He loves to help any way he can. He especially likes to wear his suits.”
