Tyler High School celebrated six senior athletes as they pledged their letter of intent to play collegiate athletics on Wednesday afternoon. The signing ceremony took place in the varsity gymnasium in front of family, coaches, and teammates.

Ashton Arriaga, Football β East Texas Baptist University
Accolades: 2024 & 2025 7-5A DI Second Team All-District, 2023 First Team All-District, over 2,000 career varsity all-purpose yards & 21 touchdowns.
Tyler High Assistant Coach Phillip Callier: βAshton is known as βMr. Consistent.β He earned three straight all-district selections and was a player who gave defensive coordinators headaches for four straight seasons. Heβs ready to do the same thing at the collegiate level.β

Braylen Ford, Football β University of Central Oklahoma
Accolades: 2025 7-5A DI Second Team All-District, 2024 7-5A DI First Team All-District
Tyler High Assistant Coach Gary Woods: βBraylen is a dynamic, play-making safety who can affect the game on all three levels on defense. He is a two-time all-district player who will continue his dynamic playmaking at the collegiate level.β

Caden Granberry, Football β Howard Payne University
Accolades: 2025 7-5A DI First Team All-District, 2023 District Offensive Newcomer of the Year, 2,525 yards, 31 total touchdowns (2025), over 6,000 career passing yards with 69 passing touchdowns.
Tyler High Assistant Coach Rashad Jackson: βIt has been great coaching Caden over the last three years. He is one of the most competitive individuals I have been around in my 23 years of coaching. He is a true student of the game who loves every aspect, from meetings to the weight room. I look forward to watching him thrive and develop at the next level.β

Kaleb Johnson, Football β University of Central Oklahoma
Accolades: 2025 7-5A DI Second Team All-District, 38 career tackles, three passes defended, one fumble recovery
Tyler High Assistant Coach John Brown: βI call him βMr. Make it Happen.β Kaleb is a hard-working athlete who had to battle back from a very tough situation this season and returned stronger both mentally and physically. He demonstrates toughness, accountability, and a relentless drive to succeed. He is prepared to take the next step and make an impact at the collegiate level.β

Chris Moore, Football β East Texas Baptist University
Accolades: 2025 7-5A DI Second Team All-District, 33 receptions, 502 yards, and seven touchdowns in 2025.
Tyler High Assistant Coach Lionel Wrenn: βChris was one of the main pieces of our offensive success. He understood his role and executed it at a high level. Whether we needed him at tight end or wide receiver, Chris stepped in and performed wherever he was asked. He consistently showed the ability to both block and catch the ball at a high level.β

Davion Sirles, Football β Texas College
Accolades: 2025 7-5A DI Second Team All-District, 2024 7-5A DI First Team All-District, 90 career receptions, 1,014 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.
Tyler High Assistant Coach Lionel Wrenn: βDavion is a three-year starter who has been an asset to the Lions program from the moment he arrived. He is the type of player who is hard to replace because he wears many hats on the team, serving as a leader, a relentless worker, and an extra coach both on and off the field. He is also a student who excels in the classroom.β
