Congratulations to Emilianno Rosales, 8th grader at Boulter Middle School, for being named District Secondary Student of the Month.

A standout member of Viking Nation, Emilianno has earned a place on the A Honor Roll every year since sixth grade and continues to push himself academically by taking high school algebra as an eighth grader. His enthusiasm for learning and natural curiosity make him a model student inside and outside the classroom.

Emilianno’s achievements extend well beyond academics. He has been named Boulter Student of the Month each school year and was honored as Athlete of the Month in both seventh and eighth grade. Most recently, he led Boulter’s team in the Stock Market Challenge, where the campus placed 6th out of 153 teams, earning recognition as the top-performing middle school.

A leader among his peers, Emilianno serves as a peer leader in Sources of Strength, promoting a positive and supportive campus culture. He has also been an active member of AVID throughout all three years of middle school, further demonstrating his commitment to college and career readiness.

Inspired by the Rosales family's strong community involvement, Emilianno volunteers regularly and approaches every opportunity with empathy, discipline, and determination. With his remarkable balance of academic rigor, athletic drive, and genuine compassion, the future is truly limitless for Emilianno Rosales.

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
