Congratulations to Paul Querol, 2nd grade student at Dixie Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month.

Paul exemplifies respect, responsibility, and positivity, consistently setting a strong example for his peers and teachers.

Polite, courteous, and kind-hearted, Paul approaches each day with a joyful personality that brightens the classroom. He knows when to focus and make excellent choices, demonstrating maturity beyond his years. Paul’s talents extend into the artsβ€”he is a gifted pianist who proudly showcased his skills in last year’s school talent show.

Outside of school, Paul continues to demonstrate leadership and responsibility through his church involvement. He participates in children’s group activities and is preparing to compete in Bible Competitions this year, reflecting his dedication to faith and community. At home, Paul completes his chores diligently and cherishes time with his grandparents, showing his ability to balance academics, extracurricular activities, and family life.

Paul Querol is a well-rounded student whose positive attitude, strong character, and many talents make him a deserving recipient of Tyler ISD’s Elementary Student of the Month. His example inspires classmates and teachers alike, embodying the values that Dixie Elementary celebrates every day.

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

Each month, Tyler ISD recognizes the exemplary efforts of two students, one from our elementary schools and one from our secondary schools, to be honored. Teachers and school principals submit nominations based on students' excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus, and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
