Tyler Legacy High School senior Jayden Jones has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Angelina College in Lufkin. Jones, who helped lead the Red Raiders to the Area Championship during the 24-25 season, has been an instrumental part of the Tyler Legacy Boys Basketball program during his four seasons. The signing ceremony took place in the gymnasium before his family, coaches, and teammates.

Jayden Jones, Boys Basketball – Angelina College
Position: Guard

Stats: 17.7 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game as a junior, 15.7 points per game, and 4.5 rebounds per game as a senior. Three-time first team all-district 10-6A selection, twice unanimous.

Tyler Legacy Head Coach Kyle Smith: "Jayden is a tremendous athlete who has made huge strides over the past two years in developing his overall game. He has the potential to become an elite defender at the collegiate level. Jayden was a four-year varsity letterman at Legacy and was instrumental in turning around our success in the last two seasons. I can't wait to watch Jayden succeed at Angelina next year as he continues to grow and develop."
