Students, parents, staff, and community members came together to make this event a memorable experience for all. Students dressed in traditional Mexican attire and danced to various songs while a crowd of parents and community members cheered them on.

“We are thankful to have different parents, community members, and vendors come out to showcase our Hispanic culture and show our students a way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo,” said Bell Elementary Assistant Principal and event organizer Anais Favela-James. “Everyone has been enjoying the food, games, and music all day, and we hope to make this event bigger and better next year!”

Amidst the performances, the courtyard bustled with activity. Everyone darted between booths, their faces painted with excitement, as they sampled treats and explored a myriad of offerings, including games of Loteria, the traditional Mexican bingo, pony races, and even a clown show.
