It's the most wonderful time of the year, and nobody makes it more special than Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves.
What a special seasonal surprise for the students at Clarkston Elementary School when the jolly couple walked into classrooms unannounced all over the joyfully decorated campus.
The children had NO idea they would get this personal visit from St. Nicholas. Gasps were heard coming from all directions as they cast their eyes on his white beard and bright red suit. Then all out glee erupted when minty and sweet striped candy cane treats were handed out to all. Santa had plentiful grateful hugs, listened to their wishes, and laughed along with his young friends. The smell of hot chocolate throughout the decorated hallways made the school cozy and comfortable, and so did the student's favorite pajamas (the exceptional dress code of the day)!
How were they so lucky to start their day in the brightest way possible?
The generous and supportive Clarkston Elementary School PTA was behind this magical surprise. Members of the group wanted to ensure the kick-off to Winter break was the happiest day of the year so far.
